I'm an industrial little fellow

Industrial, or industrious? :D

Seriously though, that's some quick work you made Dan. Nice job.

EDIT: Nice video too! Is that you that provided "the kick"?

I meant Industrial, Note the Sawzall marks :icon_rofl:.

Now it's just a matter of selling off all my Ranger-Specific stuff so I can hurry up and get my setup into the explorer!

How hard was it to get through that with a Sawzall? How many blades did you burn through?

Milwaukee "Torch" blade, took out the core support, and the exhaust/exhaust hangers like butter. I wrecked the blade on the last exhaust hanger (hit the exhaust with the tip of the blade and bent it).

I hit the core support with the fresh blade, went STRAIGHT through it, CRAZY fast...

I'm not quite as impressed with the Milwaukee Torch blades as I used to be, I started using the Diablo liquid metal blades instead. I took one of their "thick steel" rated blades (thing looks like a standard nail imbeded wood blade) and zipped through a 1/4" thick steel plate with a cordless sawzall in seconds. Blade still looked brand new too.

Thought you said that thing was all beat up. Only beating up I saw in that vid was what you did taking it apart. I actually think the title should have said "I'm a destructive little f***er!"

Hope the Explorer ends up being worth it.

Body issues:

Tail gate rusting out
Bed had 2 or 3 cracks in the fiberglass that needed repair
Rear bumper was rusting out
Driver Side door had bad dent in lower cladding
Passenger side front door fender had been pushed out of line from being lifted by the pinch weld and not the frame
Both of the outer pieces of door glass trim were rusting out underneath
Front frame horns bent from being towed with towbar
Hood Dented/Cut up to clear Blower snout
Back glass had bead of RTV along the top to stop leak
Core support bent to piss from the original engine swap being dragged across it.

Title Issues:
Lost long ago
Due for Reg renewal this month
Due for emissions this month

Wiring Issues:
harness has been modified to the point of being obnoxious, bad ground causing interior light to stay on, and being unable to flash tunes. Had to put the ECU in my explorer to flash the tune.

It's time had come, there was no more getting around it.

I could have Paid about $1000 to get it tuned correctly with SCT and good injectors so it would have passed emissions (and paid another $125 for Registration) only to have the truck sit until Spring anyways.... Where it would STILL be rusty, and dented up...

I paid $800 for the truck 3 years ago as a 4 cylinder, it has served me well.

My explorer is One previous owner, and from Florida..... It came as a no-brainer in the end when I decided which one I wanted to put money into.
