Hi all, My wife has been driving a 93 ranger 2wd ext cab long bed. Its getting rather soft and begging for a HP injection

I found you guys a while back but until today I couldn't touch the truck, my parents gifted us their car so now the ranger is sitting... I plan on doing a lot of reading and searching CL for parts

Explorers are a dime a dozen on Craigslist.
They typically need a transmission.
Might be difficult (electrically) to use a 96+ because of the OBDII changes, but look around and read up.

I was thinking of going Carb'd and avoiding the computer all together. Doing a custom dash with all mech gauges. I am not all that confident in my skills to be doing a complete rewire to make it work.
