Probably a dumb ass question but can I still hook up all the MSD ignition parts on my '84 b2 and still keep it emissions legal here in cali?

Do they have a C.A.R.B., E.O. number on them?

Yes you can if it has the CARB number like mine - and I think most do.
It seemed to help smooth out the idle, but I saw no noticeable difference and it didn't drop my smog test numbers on the dyno. So if you have to do the dyno test, it doesn't do any good. I haven't had it tested at idle to see if that make a difference because the smog guy said "probably not" and this guy knows his stuff.

Thanks,it's just this state is just nuts when it comes to certain upgrades such as cold air kits that are Certified LEGAL in Cali. You have to take the vehicle in to make it legal here, makes no sense.Again,thanks.
