What exactly is wrong with the ignition on the the '83 and '84 bronco2's and rangers?I bought an '84 bronco2 for $200 and it seems fine,just wonderin'.
 
If you're wondering why people install the Duraspark II, it's a byproduct of getting rid of the feedback carburetor system entirely. Both the carb and the ignition are directly tied to the computer, so you can't really replace one piece without the other.

And since your in cali i recommend you dont duraspark it because we live in cali and you WILL FAIL Ca Emissions...
