So i was browsing craigslist the other day I saw this:

For a 95-01 Ford Explorer/ranger
complete IFS dana 35 kit less than 10k on the lift
it will give you 5.5" of lift up front...its all in really good shape. I will include a rhinolined aluminum skid plate as well...Pickup/delivery available. i dont want to ship 250lbs worth of gear...
does not include shocks.
the rear was just a spring over axle, no parts included.
$500obo for front lift $750 with the rear axle included trades for?

I sent him an email asking what brand the lift is, so i'll let you guys know what kind it is..... It sounds like a pretty good deal. Maybe Its a superlift because he has a skid plate with it...
I got a few questions.
Is the front kit interchangable between exploder and ranger Dana 35 IFS?
I'm assuming I'm would need to lift the rear with blocks to level it out, that shouldn't be too hard to come by. i got 2 inch lift shackles already so that plus a few inch block would level it out. I still have alot of learning and reading to do but I'm just wondering about these things and figured i'd ask the questions.

Yes the front Explorer ('96-'01) and Ranger ('98+) lifts are interchangeable. The '95 Explorer had the torsen bar brackets welded to the frame, so there was no lift made for that model year.

If it is indeed a 5.5" kit it would be the RCD coil over lift.

He mentions it doesn't include shocks so maybe hes refering to the coilover shocks.... if this is indeed an RCD i'm going to sell my soul to the devil in order to buy this lift, lol. What exact shocks would this lift need to work? it'd be so epic to get rid of those silly torsion bars.

Damn, its a superlift, but for 500 thats still a killer deal.

Then its only 4" of lift. Still a good deal.

I'd still run it till i get bored with it. Its an addiction no doubt!

IIRC, there is a diff bracket in the front that is different between a Ranger and an Explorer but I don't think it's anything you can't work around.
Sasquatch is correct, the Superlift is a 4" lift.

I am gonna try and pick it up today or tommorow. I'm excited!

Well i picked it up, well, i picked up the entire torched off suspension of an explorer these guys were doing a FS D44/D60 SAS on it. So now i have spare parts + a 4 inch superlift kit for $460

if this is indeed an RCD i'm going to sell my soul to the devil in order to buy this lift, lol.

Be happy it's just a Superlift, that might be a little hard to explain that you gave up your eternal soul for a lift kit.:icon_rofl:

Haha, yea, that'd be kinda tricky, but I'm sure I could get out of it! :icon_rofl:
