If you had to start from scratch, for whatever reason, what three (3) firearms would you purchase? Why three?-no particular reason, just an arbitrary number. Perhaps it's the most that you might be able to reasonably carry in any given scenario. Also consider the following characteristics when selecting: reliability, versatility, portability, affordability, and availability (i.e. how easy is it to acquire, how readily available is the ammo).

Bolt Action .22 Mag w/ sights (no scope)
Trench Gun 10G w/ bottom feed
Luger .33 Mag w/ philed pin (makes it automatic)

all are cheap, efficient, and accurate

I love my xd-40 subcompact. reliable as hell, easy to clean, ammo is easy to find. if you dont like a 40 they have it in a 9 and they also sell conversion kits for .22

Id have to say....

Colt 45

M4

tactical 12guage

of course id have a full suit filled with ammo, extra mags, pretty much enough to survive a good while.

ooooooo
you would prolly want a pistol, rifle, shotgun.......so
45cal colt 1911 (i know everyone has em, but they are cool)
marlin 30/30 lever action (cowboy style bitches:icon_hornsup:)
lastly mmm my favorite winchester 1887/1901 10 gauge lever action......yea

and no offense but i HATE the m4!

1. Ruger Vaquero .45LC - Tough accurate gun, .45LC is the stuff of legands. On my current "to get list"

2. 1894 Winchester 30-30 - Tough accurate gun, pretty high rate of fire, all around great rifle. (30-30 on my "to get list")

3. Mossberg 500 12 guage - Again a tough gun, jack of all trades, with a second barrel I can drop deer as well as birds. 12ga is the most effective, practical close range weapon known to man. (I already have one in 20ga and I love it)

Ammo is still pretty common to find for all, if not I can get a mold and have the .45 reloaded by a friend, 12ga is very easy to reload.

bolt action .22LR with iron sites and a scope

Remington 870 12GA

30.06 bolt action

Glock 29, Saiga 12 and an Oly K16 (AR15).

NO, go with the 30 or the 28, they have a lot less issues, the 28 is similar to the 29, only it has less kick, the 30 has more kick, but fires faster and more accurate.

I like having a pocket pistol. Nobody likes to be shot, even with a .22lr out of a 2" barrel. It's good to be the first one to produce a firearm in an ugly situation. With a pocket pistol it's in your hand pretty much all the time as you don't need a holster at all. Beretta M21.

There is no replacement for a shotgun. It can shoot anything. An 870 or a Mossberg 500 with a cylinder-bore barrel. You can get a rifled deer barrel with a scope and sabots, or a long bird barrel. It's defensive, offensive and hunting. It's a must.

Last choice depends. A .22LR rifle is great if you need to feed yourself with a firearm so that's my #3 choice.

A larger handgun is probably not as good of a concealed-carry defense weapon as you think--it's not as good as a shotgun for home defense--you can't hunt with it for shit. I choose the pocket pistol for the purpose people would carry a larger pistol. The powerful rifle doesn't interest me either. If I thought I would need to join the American Resistance at some point I might choose a Mini-14 so I could pick up ammo from the enemy. But since I have to pick 3, I thing the .22 rifle is much more practical.

I have everything pretty much, but those are what I would keep if I had to keep 3.

an 870 12 gauge with a 28" barrel with a full choke and 18 inch barrel
a 2 inch 357/38 for the rerason above of being an easy weapon to cary and keep out of site and reliable beyond all means
and an ak 47 in the 7.62 configuration. it is hands down the most reliable fire arm known to man, easy to field strip and clean and is gauranteed to fire 999,999 times out of 1000000

are we talking about urban warefare or survival? .22's are good for hunting food

my list are
1-12gauge coach gun, why- easy to carry, easy to move around, fires anything i want, and can be broken down easly.
2-1894 30-30, why-good sized round, i like level action over bolt.
3-desert eagle with ether .44 or .50ae, why- one shot kill

if it was urban warefar in a city, id switch the 30-30 with an 7.62 ak, or a ar-15 or its fully auto counterpart (blackmarket for the win!)
mabey get a pistol that has a higher capacity mag, in something like 9mm or 45mm. an AB-10 smg would be nice.
