Had a bit of a good snow fall last night and this morning. Enough that I felt using 4x4 was neccessary. Went to school(my third day there). Day wasn't too bad. Went to go home after i was done class about about 3:45. Dropped my aunt off at wal-mart.

Except i noticed that my auto hubs were still engaged, so in an empty area of the parking lot i toss it into reverse and hit the gas, not mash it, just give it a quick hit of the gas.

*BAM!*

And that was the sound of the A4LD saying f*** off. Drove the rest of the way home in second. No more reverse, over drive, drive or first.

My transmission trouble to go along with being put on part time at work(7 hours a week). My credit cards being maxed, the ticket im waiting to go to court for(not a speeding). The homework load that I've got. And a death in the family.

Sorry, had to let it out somewhere.

I'm sorry to hear that man. Seems that way for me sometimes too. Don't worry, it'll get better.

Sorry about your luck. Just remember it's always darkest right before the sun shines.LOL

Sorry about your luck man, and what v-8power said about the sun:icon_thumby:

You'll get through it man!

Was the A4LD behind that 5.0L, or a normal Ranger engine? Your signiture says that you have a 5.0L Ranger. And sorry about your luck.. For every bad thing that happens, a good one will happen!

haha no, definitly not behind the 5.0L. This was the exploder that blew up. The ranger just started up for the first time last week. Still need to build the SAS, and finish up the engine stuff.

Still going to be a while before i get the opertunity to blow up that trans.

Took the trans out right after my post and got it mostly disassembled except the govenor, and the rear most drum. Havn't found any carnage yet, so that where i think it is, in the rear most drum, the band that goes on it looked kindda nasty. Also the pan was FULL of metal shavings. I dont mean full as in alot, i mean full as in the hole area where the magnet sits was flat with the rest of the pan.

EDIT:
P.S
Anyone want to donate trans parts to build a franken trany? :P
