I've found the software on the net for an IDS system. If I buy it will I have to purchase a subscription to ford? Has anyone bought one of these? its about 300 to 400 dollars. Is to worth it?
 
Plan on opening up a dealership?
 
To do anything with it but view recordings you will need a subscription and a VCM.

ForScan will do pretty much the same stuff for free to $50.
