Ok, I have been chasing a high idle problem for the better part of 2 months. Kept testing things and finding them bad so I have replaced a few things along with a few small vacuum leeks. The list is as follows
EGR Solenoid
EGR DFPE
Vapor Solenoid
TPS Sensor
TPS connector
Cleaned Throttle body and IAC vavle.
Now everything seems to working much better then it has been but my question is
What should the idle do when I press the clutch in?
My idle will slowly drop to around 2000 rpms, and will stay steady there until I come to a complete stop then it will idle down to 800-900. I am thinking it should drop down to 1000ish immediately upon pressing the clutch in but can not be sure.
I am thinking two things here, the computer just needs to relearn a little bit with the new sensors and stuff and/or maybe the EGR valve is a tad sluggish. The EGR valve test good but maybe is is not fully opening/closing like it should. I have a new one laying around so I am going to change it but for the life of me can not figure out how to get it off. I can get it off the throttle body but not the exhaust part, I have tried pbr and everything but the darn nut will just not budge, there is very little room to work on the backside
Also if an o2 sensor was a tad slow at responding I would get a check engine light correct
