Identifying Positive + Negative Speaker Wires


Either the voltmeter suggestion or looking at wire colors at the speaker will answer your question with no ambiguity.
 
50/50 chance of guessing the right colors. If you get it wrong the first try, 100% chance on the 2nd try.
 
Care to share your findings????
This was the correct way for my ‘99. Luckily this was the method I followed before finding the other way.

Now that we've sorted through all this... What are you trying to do?
 
You shouldn't need the wire colors for the radio if you're using a proper adapter harness. Also - if you plug in the adapter to the factory wiring, you'd be able to immediately see what crosses to each factory wire from the labeled wires on the adapter.
