Idea's on a new front bumper

Looking at getting a different front bumper for my 96 ranger. Saw some other posts on using a Exploder front bumper. If I can use one from a Explorer, what years, and what if any type of extra work would be involved. There is a 02 mountaineer and a 01 sport in a local junkyard that I really like so just wanted to know before I went and bought either.

i believe those wont fit yours, u may need to do some custom work on the brackets, once u do that u can fit any explorer bumper up to 01-02 and any ranger bumper from 98+

I beg to differ..this is my 96 with a 97 Mountaineer Bumper..with a little imagination..and a little reworking of the brackets, a good drill and some bolts....you can put a 95-99 Explorer bumper on your Ranger..Maybe even newer!
