- A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Finally got 'round to replacing that shameful FoMoCo/OEM *PLASTIC* (Ford Tough NOT) POS tailgate handle with a great METAL one--SLICK!
Noticed that both versions seat right onto the PAINTED SHEET METAL of the tailgate indentation, trapping moisture... which explains the STREAKS running vertically down from handle all the way to bottom of tailgate.
Given that I'll probably never have to change out this handle again, was thinking of just smearing some clear RTV under there... unless there's a better, less sticky solution. Yes, I live in Humidity-ville.
You know that I know that YOU know what I'm talkin' 'bout.
