I began wondering what a first gen Explorer would look like if it was offered as a sport trac. so curious, in fact, that i decided to just start photoshopping. I think it'd look a little bit like this:

this is just a rough mock up. I'm gonna smooth it out a little tomorrow

I've seen people debate this quite a few times... but I can't remember anyone actually cutting the metal... I'd like to see one that was actually done. (If I could ever get ahead of my own projects I might try doing it, lol)

they actually make a 4dr ranger like this (its newer of course) but unfortunatly its only available in Europe

The sport trac has the unlevel portion at the back doors and the rounded bed corners that just look stupid. I always wondered why ford didnt just do this. It would have been cheaper and better. By the way explorers and blazers can rent the tandem axle trailers from uhaul. Do to turnovers. They include the sport trac in this too, stupid. Nice mock up man.

That does look good. Hmmm the ideas are runnin rampant in my head.

I do like the idea......too bad they would most likely have flipped over even more easy!!! lol

Now, how about doing a photo of a Ranger (like my Ranger Supercab) with the bed shortened about a foot. I want to cut out a section and get that one of a kind look...any takers?? I want to take a section out before the tail lights and then weld it back together. I would have to modify the rear bumper frame area to get it to mount back up. But I think it would look neat.

Get me a side shot that's taken exactly perpendicular to the truck and I'll do it. it'll probably turn out a whole hell of a lot better.

btw, here is another piece of my work
