Ok, I tried to post on "General Discussions" and got no response. My swaybar bushings are whacked. I've got an '88 super cab and calipered the swaybar diameter (is that really a verb?) at 1-1/8" . I'm looking at an LMC catalog and only see the pivot bushings. I can see daylight through the ones on the end though. What do I call them when looking for parts???? I only want polyurethane. Anybody got suggestions? Thoughts?

Anti roll bar bushings, roll bar bushings. EDIT I just phoned my parts place and they call it a sway bar bushing. I also tried napa online and got the same response as you. Good luck,
Richard

They have gobs of stuff.. Oreilly, aka Checkers, aka CSK Auto, mainly only sells rubber not the nice polyurethane.. Why not just do what i did and take the sqway bar off? lol . .mine rides nicer then it ever has and the suspension actually works now.. The sway aint to bad either..

Thanks for the suggestions - but I think I may have an oddball. My swaybar doesn't have end links. I'ts U-shaped and I can find the frame mount bushings - they're bolted on to a cross-member under the engine. I can't find the front ones though. They're like the frame mount ones (kinda) but the ends of the bar are bolted through shackles to the radius arms.

they're out there...I just replaced mine last fall, they were in similar condition & style as yours.

thinking I got mine from Summit...chatted with a tech to make sure I got the right ones.

James duff had some too or go straight to energy suspension...at the time I got mine.

Thanks I'M. I guess I'll call them. I just hate having one supplier. e.g. needeed new shocks. Put offers out to 4 places. Got quotes on KYB GR2's from $50 to $25 per shock!! By the way, i really appreciate the way you support this forum. I've even quoted you a few times ----"Check the grounds" --- keep up the good work.
