i think this might be the wrong forum but i couldn't find one that seemed to fit so i made an anounce ment. "if it don't fit Make it fit"

I would like to do a one inch body lift on my 89 bronco II. i havent been able tto find a kit so i was wondering if anybody has ever done this and how?

You could buy a 2 inch kit and cut the pucks down to 1 inch or you could do it the cheap way and buy hockey pucks and new/longer bolts.

rofl, seriously? hockey pucks?? obviously a hole would have to be drilled but still..that would work??

lets all screw the suspension companies lol.

Just take some pipe and cut it at one inch, then weld washers on the ends. Or if you don't have a welder.. get a buddy with one to do it quick.

--Edit--

Please don't do the hockey puck lift.. I've seen them break down over time, or just plain snap.

I used a alum. rod that was cut down to one inch slices. then drilled a hole in the middle. seems to work great and cheap. just go down to your local metal supplier and look through there scrap section sure you will find something. and again don't use the pucks they brake and crack over time.

Ok ok don't use the pucks lol. I've never done that so I was unaware they fall apart.
