Powertrax Lock-Right is about your only option. It's an auto locker, step on the gas, it locks, let off, it unlocks.

that's just welding the spider gears so your axles are locked all the time. the name comes from using Lincoln brand arc welders. not anywhere close to being the best choice... imho.

try a scrap yard. i just got home minutes ago with my 3.73 8.8" limited slip rear end that i paid 41.53 for but had to pull it myself. it came with backing plates and wheel cylinders.
