Flowmaster 10 Series, I have them on my 4.0 and it growls like a V8. Or you can run glasspacks, both will let people know your coming.

I don't want something uber loud... What do you think about the flowmaster 50 series?

What about magnaflow cat-back exhaust?

Magnaflow 10 sounds really good on these trucks. I ran a glasspack. It was louder than my straight pipe. And sounded worse. Sounded like it had an exhaust leak or something. The super 44 seems to give it that echo that makes it sound like a can of nails even with a nice cam. If you got he cash get an Aero Turbo muffler. If not id say get a flowmaster super 10 or a equally priced magnaflow.

Btw the super 10 is only recommended for race use... if that says any thing to you.

Personally I like my straight pipe. Wish it had more of that rasp to it at 3 grand but I'm only running stock pipe.

From what I've heard id say Aero turbine. Then super 10 then depending on what you like super 44 or straight pipes.

Super 44 IMO makes it sound hollow?

They make a race series super 10, I have the street version, but I did notice a 2HP gain and 1MPG, so I like it.

Did not know that. I just looked up a 10 one day on summit and read race

The 10 series is a good choice, its made in the USA, sounds good, and gets better the more you drive it, and even throws in a bit of performance gain, not much but I'll take it!

You may have dynoed it and noticed a 2 hp gain, anything much under 10hp is nearly impossible to notice with a butt dyno.

I'm running Hedman headers down through a Flowmaster Super44 series muffler (3" in, dual 2.5 out) into dual 2.5" mandrel bent tail pipes and ending with 3.5" Silverline tips. Thing growls like a V8. NOTICABLE power increase in the lower RPMs.
