Anyone seen this yet? They are putting a 2.5L and a 3.0L diesel engine in their rangers! Nice styling too!

i missed out twice due to transfers, they tell me i missed alot.damn the bad luck.
what command were you with?
I was in Bunbury, just south of Perth, in about '79. I was on the Charles F. Adams (DDG-2). The carrier went to Perth. It was a really great time the people, especially the women, liked Us Americans.
white plains (afs-4) out of yokosuka japan,i've seen ddg-2 before, did we have your command alongside for conrep?
were you with cvn-68 battle group?
i mean unrep.did you manage a stop in subic bay?![]()
It's been quite awhile back, but I think it was the CVN-68. I went to the Persian Gulf twice. First ont the Claude V. Ricketts (DDG-5), then on the Adams. We did alot of unreps so most likely if you were there we were steaming along side loading up. Also went to Diego Garica, was called the a$$hole of the world then. We were along side a tender.
I loked up a pic of your ship and it looks kinda familiar. Glad to see some other swabbies on here. Are you a shellback or a lowly pollywog?
