Look at the interior on this BII. AMAZING condition from what you can tell. It was definitely someone's baby. I think I could fix her. All damage is above the bumper and frame rails. The doors don't look pushed back a terrible amount. The cowl may be the most difficult part beside the core support. I already have a salvageable 1st gen core support. If not, I know where there are ten more. Fenders are cheap. Hoods are easily sourced around here.

I wish it wasn't a salvage title and was available for sale to average Joe's like me. Unfortunately you have to be a dealer or a broker to buy it.. Brokerage fees are insanity too. Then there's the shipping..

There's still a good chance that a lot of this old girl will end up in the crusher/shredder. Such a shame.

Scraping that would be a crime.

That is the very definition of a butterface.

Ill snatch it up if no one bids on it. Itll be one of the nicest things my brother has bought from copart. Also all you need to buy stuff from copart with is a $60 basic membership and a deposit. No dealer license needed.

It states that this BII can't be bought without a license.

Color me jealous if you get it.

Ahh i must have missed that part, i dont mess with copart much. Lots of deceptive junk on there. I sent it to him and told him to pick it up if it goes for less than $1000. Ill probably just flip it if i wind up with it, if it were a second gen manual that would be a different story.

As clean as it is inside and out (besides the bendy bits) it would be worth building in to what you want it to be. Make it a manual. Make it a 2.3 turbo. Make it Coyote powered.

If I knew someone in PA that could get it, I'd be bidding on it. Even though Illinois' process for inspections after rebuilding totally sucks.

Nah, its far to clean to hack into a second gen. It would just be repaired and sold solely to save it from the scrapper.

My ideal B2 starting point is a 90’, 2.9, M5od, D35, with power grey interior. Thats by far my favorite RBV of all time.

I don't see a lick of damage or rust behind the front fenders. All that crap can be replaced in an afternoon with a 1/2" wrench...

At least one of the doors has been pushed back until it's out of square. The top and bottom aren't closing the same amount. That might prove to be a challenge.

I don't know why I post these things, only to later regret not working harder to acquire them for myself. lol
