Got called into work at 10 p.m the other night. I go out, hop in the truck to start it up, and I hear a god awful clacking sound. It speeds up and gets louder as engine RPMs increase. I have narrowed it down to a top end noise (valve train) and it sound like it is coming from the front part of the engine....

Wife's uncle drained the oil and checked the filter.....metal shavings everywhere....Calling a mechanic tomorrow that specializes on American cars, and going to see if he can find the problem and fix it. Well....there goes the mod money for the mustang...
