BTW. It's a dry system, very rugged, and first time taking the entire top end off a prelude was 45 mins. The efficiency is fawking astounding.

In their original H22A4 form, a one and done engine with fiber reinforced metal cylinders. Can't rebore, so rely on endless supply of non existence short blocks, wet sleeve, or get on Craigslist and buy any ulev f block for $50 and build G23 stroker. 8.4:1 compression ebay t3 manifolds on ebay are $60. 1500 total in to a fresh motor for a good 300whp grocery getter. Oilfield buddy has one. Cool little motor. 13.5:1 stroker was my plan. $500 all in. Cheap, safe on pump gas 220-240 build with right exhaust.

Oh. All designed to be worked on by one person on concrete.

Something to be said for a company that gives a **** about the end user.

I hated my Honda because salt destroyed it. Wasn't its fault.

The B20Z is setup the same way.

Sarge. You too know of the ways of VTEC....

It's not about the peak numbers, it's the flatness of the torque curve...

In theory. I never had anything with V-TEC. The B20Z and my mother's Accord with the B18 were both before V-TEC came out. The B20 family was basically a bored out B18.

Go find prelude for sale on Craigslist.

Test drive it.

Tell seller you're testing VTEC solenoid, he'll say but of course, punch it, toss the keys back, and give a review. ✌🏿

Why would I do that when I have an Ecoboost to play with?

Why can't valves and pistons just get along!!! Why must they hit each other!!!! Oh the humanity!!!

They used to... back in the old 2.3/2.5l they got along great.

Vtec with a manual trans in a single cab 2wd Ranger might make a great little DD/ grocery getter.

My wife's car, when we met was an old Accord with early Vtec. Untold hundreds of thousands of miles because Odom was broke. I actually liked that car. Sold it after somebody backed into the pass side. Ragged out. A/C didn't work. Survivor of several accidents. Unknown mileage. 20+ yrs old. Still got $1,000 for it within hours of listing it on CL
