I think I found a good tax return option.

I like it because it can replace my Hobart 140 as far as versatility goes (it can do both 110 or 220), already has a spoolgun and is ready to accept a spoolgun(others need a seperate $200 control box), and it's just a tad larger than my Hobart.

I'm not too thrilled about the 75lb weight of it, but that's very minor.

What's you guys' take in this machine?

holy expensive:shok:

I know, I know.:shok:

But! It is a Miller, which means it has replacement parts for everything, and it's both 110/220 with a spoolgun.

So it's really 3 welders in one.... :icon_thumby:

Price isnt that bad,nice choice!

At first, I thought it was expensive!

But then as I thought about it, it's actually pretty decent.

I mean, 110 OR 220(so I could use it at a guy's house if he's only got 110), spoolgun(since I weld the aluminum for 2 months straight now, I want to do some at home, and a Hobart 140 just doesn't cut it.), and it's Miller, a well known good name with lots of tech support and repair parts if needed.

Plus, I could sell my welder and re-coup. the costs a little bit.

Yup. Definitly going in that direction.... :icon_thumby::icon_welder:

I bought my Miller 211 about a year ago, and couldn't be happier! It's done everything I've asked it to, and hopefully I'll be picking up the spoolgun in the new year. I hope you enjoy it!

That's a decent little set up, I could make good use of that. I wish I had a tax return that big, LOL.

I have one. It is an awesome little welder! On 110 power it will do 3/16ths mild steel in one pass, and on 220 it will do 3/8ths. Using a bevel it will handle more obviously. The gun that comes with it is nice and small and easy to maneuver in tight spots. Downfall is the 10 lb spool but thats part of being portable. The autoset feature works really well too. I got mine for about 800 bucks through school so it was definitely worth it! I have heard that the 100 serious spoolgun isn't very good but I haven't personally used one so idk. I wouldn't think twice about buying one again!! Very pleased. :icon_welder:

Well boys.................she's on order and should be here next week!! :D :D :D

yeah, i think i'm goin to do the same thing with mine. i'm goin for a $300-$400 hobart tho, i need to buy some new tires too

Hobarts are awesome too! You're still getting a great deal from it.

I wanted this one for the aluminum welding capacity.

Awwww yeah!!!
