Had sensor problems with the left from hub. Changed out the hub with a Timkin from RockAuto. Then I started noticing a vibration. I suspected the drive shaft. Had the joints replaced and had it re-balanced. tI was out of balance. Can't tell you how much, but they had to put a weight on roughly the size of a half-dollar and about 1 and 1/2 times as thick near the rear. This got ride of the vibration from 42 to 47.
However I still had a vribration that I could feel in the steering wheel at maybe 55 to 67. Before anyone asks, the tires are new and balanced. Then the sensor on the right hub started to act up, so I replaced that hub with a Timkin. No change in vibration. I suppose I could have a bad new bearing. But that would be rare.
So now it is on to the the CV front axles. Anyone had a problem with them? I have 113,000 on the clock. I could just start replacing all rotating items in the front, but that gets expensive.
