Looking at the fine print I think they covered their asses. It only applies to what they have on the shelf ready to send out. 2 days from order placement to ship something that is on the shelf should be doable by almost anyone, though I admit that I have never had any dealings with them. Pretty much anything they build in house could be classified as custom, so that cuts down on a lot of parts that meet the criteria. The real question would be, exactly how much of their stuff is not custom or on back order.

Custom, backordered, springs or shocks. That should catch A LOT of stuff.

IMO they should have never had those issues in the first place. I'll wait till every order is place correctly before I buy from them. Last time I checked pirate4x4 was still posting negative user reviews.

My last two orders the only problem I had was I ordered 8 of a particular tab (sold in pairs, I bought 4 pairs) and got 7 pieces. Contacted them and they said they would ship out another, no charge. I ended up receiving another pair, so I still don't have an even number but I'm not going to be mad about having an extra piece of steel laying around with a hole punched in it. Funny thing is, when I ordered it, I forgot they were in pairs (I only needed two pair at the time) so I filled in a quantity of 4 on the order form.

I didn't get screwed, I ended up with an extra piece because instead of sending the one piece that was missing from my order, they sent two pieces. And a nifty keychain.

And I was trying to explain that I had needed 4 pieces (two pair) but had goofed ordering and ordered 8 pieces (4 pair) by accident.

I read the fine print shortly after posting. Isnt 99% of their stuff "custom"... They are a "fabrication" company... In my eyes fab and custom are one in the same haha.

Maybe its a ploy to make them look good... til you call and get the full story.

Ill be ordering the adjustable coil towers soon... hope all goes well.
