i need some help over here!!!!!!!!!!

i got a 83 ranger with an 84 cab, 4x4 . i got a 92 explorer 2wd with a 4.0 auto. im doing the 4.0 swap, can i use the bell housing off the 4.0 and bolt it up to the trans that is in my 4x4? it had a 2.8 in it before. also would i be able to use the clutch off the 2.8 ??

i have all the parts to do it, just dont know what i can use on what,
any info would be appreciated!!!

I'm pretty sure the bellhousing from the 2.8 will bolt up to the 4.0. for the clutch/ flywheel i would just get the right one for the 4.0 and I'm pretty sure the fly wheels won't interchange
