I need ideas for a cheap lift!

alright. I just bought myself a dana 35 ttb and 8.8 rear with trac lok from a 93 ranger that im going to put into my 89 ranger right soon. will that make a difference on what parts i need to order?

nope, the shackles or explorer leaves will still work, so will the coils, now just make sure you buy adjuster bushings for the dana 35.

and the 4.0L explorer coils in the front should get you 1-2 inches in the front ive used this setup in my truck and had no isues with 31-10.50's

From any specific year? Does anyone have pictures of explorer coils installed on there ranger? What makes them different? from the explorer to the ranger?

ok you need the front coils from a 91-94 explorer what makes the useable for lift is that the explorer front end is heavier than a ranger therefore using explorer coils offer you some lift

Cool. i think i might just order a 4" lift from summit racing. I want to clear my 31's nice and have a decent amount of room to have some flex. I found a 6" lift 2 hours from me that i might pick up. Guy wants $500 for it. so i might just go with the 6" lift. comes with vms brackets, coils, leafs, bushing, everything, even a front dana 35 ttb thats welded lol...no need for that though, use it for parts.
