i have a 1994 3.0 ranger. truck has spark and getting fuel just wont run. i took the distribtor apart cleaned it up. and put it back in. all i got was one pop than notthing. just crank crank and crank.

Well if "spark and fuel" then you only need timing, compression, air. What kind of spark - big & blue or white/yellow weak?

i have a 1994 ranger 3.0 4x4. i pulled the motor it had a bent rod. got her all in and it started up great ( never put bolt in for disturber and timing jumped) i got it time right now, but when you turn the key on run, and turn the disturber cap ( sounds like some thing shortin out??) the fuel pump kicks on and i hear some cliking. and the coil will spark. need my truck for work monday. anyhelp would be great. could thr dis be shortin out?

You need spark, fuel and air. Have you check the IAC?
