ok back ground story.

94 ranger 4x4 5 speed explorer rear with disc and dana 35 front disc


ok 3 weeks ago i resurfaced my rear rotors and new pads. i had to wait till friday to buy my front rotors and pads.

well my truck hasnt been stopping right. when you get on the brakes the front brakes do nothing. the rears will lock up if i press it hard enough. my rear abs light has been coming on too. i thought the front brakes werent working because of how bad my front pads and rotors were.

ok so i put in my new pads and rotors in Friday night. bled the brakes and went for a drive. well still the same shit the fronts dont do shit and the rears lock up when you need to stop fast.

saturday i replaced the master cyl with a brand new one bled the system and still the same problem. i cant figure this out i need my truck

getting fluid to the front calipers? is the piston coming out when you step on the pedal?

Are they antilock brakes sounds like air in the master or electrical not getting fluid to the pistons either way.

I ran into this a few years ago helping a friend with his. I think we changed the master cyl from a Ranger with rear drums to an Exploder with rear disc.

A-1 Cardone's units are: Ranger with drum #10-2352
Exploder with disc and no cruise #10-2395.
Course change the prefix of 10 with a 13 if ya want new and a fluid tank.
