Ok i have a 97 ford ranger with a 2.3 2wd im trying to deside if i want to put a lift on it. First of all is it worth putting the money in to it. second how big i was thinking like a 2" lift please help

Yes, you will love the looks of the lift. Put 31's on it and you won't kill too much power. If you regear you wil have that power back It will cost about $500.00 to regear, unless you have a friend who is a great machanic and that will be cheaper!!!!

2 inch isnt really that much for a 2wd. But its always fun... Than you will want more and more and more.

Alvin, post your location so you can find members near you who might be mechanically inclined. Also 2" is a mild lift for a truck like that it will be well worth it, just for cosmetic improvment if nothing else. I would invest the money for 2" suspension lift. Read up in hte tech pages about some cost effective lift options prior to buying a $400 kit.

2" makes a 2wd more usable. even 235's on some 2wd's rub at full turn without a lift

ok thanks guys i think im goin to do and my location is lowell indiana 46356
