I need a hand from the experts

I bought one of our last 2011 Rangers out of stock and it had 15" wheels.
what style wheels did it have? it would be nice to know if more than 1 would fit the big brakes.
4wd right?
2wd had 11.25 front rotors. (all 2wd??)

the "larger" 15" wheels came on Sport models.

This is awesome stuff you guys have here! @sgtsandman, I look forward to speaking with you about what you've done! @superj, thank you for your service sir.

My 2011 came with 15" aluminum rims. The 7 spoke steel rims also fit. I haven't tried any of the other styles of 15" rims Ford has used on the Ranger. So, I can't say if they will clear the calipers or not. I'll get some images off the internet so you will know exactly which rims I'm talking about.

Tire wise, a 31" tire will fit if you use the torsion keys for a 4X4 Ranger built before 2008. I suspect the aftermarket lift keys will also work. The original torsion bar keys that came with my 2011 were too low for 31"tires to fit and not rub. And they rubbed quite a bit. With the pre-2008 keys, all you have to do is trim off the tab that hangs down on the splash guard on the passenger side and most of your rubbing issues should be fixed. I say most since I tried some trimming on the rear of the fender liner before installing the torsion bar keys. So, I don't know if you need to do that or not.

The tire size you mention is pretty much the P-metric equivalent to a 31" tire. It's about 3/4" of an inch taller, if the tire maker is true to the standard. Some tires run a bit big and some run a bit small. My 31X10.5R15 BFG KO2 tires are a little on the small side. It's kind of going to be a little bit of trial and error with each tire brand. You may need to crank the keys a little for clearance.

For the rear, since I wanted to keep the factory rake, I installed pre-2008 axle blocks. I was replacing the leaf springs at the time. So I had to do the work on the u-bolts anyway. I do some pretty heavy hauling (for a Ranger) from time to time. So, I needed to keep the rake.

EDIT:

The wheels that came with the truck.

These painted one should work too. I'm thinking of getting a set for some mud tires. The ones the winter tires were installed on have gotten so rusty, they no longer hold air properly and the interior of the rim was catching on the retainer hardware that the brake pads ride on. The clearance is that tight.

So the door jamb is showing 15" wheels. Must have that one style of wheel that fits
They looked like this, I liked the 16's better but the truck we had in stock with 16's had a bunch of options I didin't want.
