I know it's not a rbv but who cares

the ranger does great. ive been up a few times in the snow. no complaints all the welds still look nice and strong. speaking of that im picking up a new welder this week so I can fab up some body armor for the truck.
any ideas of a place nearby to get some scrap for bumpers/sliders?

sqaure or dom? for square den col will be your best bet and for dom high country sells it by the foot.

They mixed the 14FF with the 10-bolt, certainly. There's lots around in 3/4-tons. Many, many.

x2 that's what's in my suburban. It's basically a similar combo to a D60 rear and 8 lug D44 front found in alot of old dodge 3/4 tons.

where do you guy all go wheeln' up here in CO?

check out 4x4trails.net it has trail ratings, pictures and lots of good info

oatmeal, probably need both square and dom tubing for what I have planned hcp does bending too dont they?

yes they do

Beaterman look around.I know me and Adams first run is gonna be slaughter house for a shakedown of both our rigs.Carl your welcome to join as are you mike.If you'd like to tag along beaterman just say so and I'll let you know when our first run is going to be.

To hell with putting a body on it. Weld down some metal plating and a tube cage. Make your own vehicle. :D

weld the rear and put an aussie up front. if you plan on mall crawling it, get aussies front and rear. as i mentioned before, wheel spin can be very evil!

the only problem i see with f/r fulltime lockersis this truck is going to be seeing a lot of street duty as well.this is not a trailered rig and will driven to and from the trails.i think a arb out back and a lsd up front is what im gonna go for.i wish i could afford molys and all that for the 10 otherwise id go for a arb up front as well

oatmealman, that would be totaly sweat! i'm definatly down to get out and do some wheeling, i just finished my 4.88 gears and am looking to test them out. jst let me know. and my real name is mike for the record, everyone calles me rivs though seeing my last name is rivers. lol but awsome build looking foward to seeing it in action!!!

Thanks on the compliment,it'll be a few months before adam or I go wheeling.Neither of us has winches and digging myself out all the time doesn't sound fun.

Hey Mitch, I found a conversion for the front CV drive shaft to run a jeep drive shaft. I'll have that front shaft soon enough!

Let's definatly get a CO wheeling run together. TA33 is in our future

So your gonna run a jeep front drive shaft? Ta33 would be sweet but man it's far and not very technical If you wanna run ta33 we should camp the night up there and then go run carnage canyon or left hand.I decided against sua because of the amount of lift I would have to run which would require lift springs.I'm gonna go soa and possibly extended shackles.I'm hoping the axle wrap won't be bad but If it is I'll add a leaf and run a military wrap style pack.

Never mind apparently carnage canyon was closed as of september 2008,so I guess left hand would be rad while we are up there.WE could also run ironclads with is really really close to ta33 if you'd like.

Well I'm stumped.I pulled the rear diff cover off of the 14 bolt today and found some weird shit.Inbetween the spider gears there are two sqaure plates. At first I thought it was a governor locker but from the pictures i've seen it's not.
