did a quick search, and have not found anything that proves beyond doubt that this is going to happen, but I really would like to see it.

My only concern is why would ford want to give the Mustang competition? But dang that is a sharp looking car.

I thought it was a Mercury model when it first came out...since I can remember, companies like Ford had Mercury...there was GMC, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Buick, and even Chrysler and Plymouth...they were making almost identical cars with different badging...then came the model competition within each company...

It was always a bit confusing to me then...and it remains a mystery now...other than marketing these to different groups I can't really see any reason to do what they do...

I bought a Ford Tempo in 1988...the almost identical Mercury Topaz was also available...but I didn't go check it out because I was a Ford man...not a Mercury Mouse...lol

It's a ford, even back then. I still have a '68 I found in a field 30 years ago, but not a fastback. I've been dragging it around waiting for the time to fix it.
