There's a post here at TRS that shows how to make a ball joint press out of some pipe and fittings. I saw it maybe two weeks ago and was going to make one for my upcoming job, but I don't remember where it was.

Anyone remember that?

Did you try the forum search? I just searched "ball joint press" and had a few pop up, I would post some links but I'm on my phone.
