I have cross members to repair rotted ones

I have a Ranger (2003, 4x4 Supercab) that had a rotted cross member. It was the one just behind the cab at the joint of the front and rear frame. The one that the rear gas tank strap goes into. I ended up with several used cross members from the south. I had to pay a guy to cut them out and they would not do just one just one (that's why I have several). They are not cheap but it could save your truck. If anyone wants one here is the link on ebay.

I had the same problem with mine but the rust was not far advanced. I hit it with rust converter and rubberguard and was hoping to remove the cab this summer to do a more thorough job...

That price is insane for a crossmember...I'm sure they can be replaced for much less...

Dude, I can go get a whole frame half, with that piece, for less than $450 at a local U-pull.

i just raid the scrap crate pile at the local powersports shop and build them...


for all the shit you have to do to swap them....if it cost more then 10 bux to build it i would just throw the truck away
