I got a job!! My neighbor came over while I was working on the ranger and he asked if I would like to help him with his house (he cannot work due to VERY bad heart condition), and I said yeah. Jason came over and we drove over there, so he could have 2 helping hands instead of 1.

At the end of the day, about 6:30, we say we are gonna call it quits cause its gettin late, and we moved 3 piles of sinder blocks out of the basement (literally, over 150 sinder blocks! we were removing a basement wall to redo foundation), and he comes out and asks us how long we had been workin. We had forgotten what time we got there, so we settled on 3 or so hours.

He said he would pay us $10 an hour each! We got $40 today, and he made us ice tea (very good stuff too!) and dinner!

Jason will be workin by himself while I am gone on the FFA thing, and I will be back workin on Monday, starting from 10am to 7:30pm! WOOHOO!

Had a handyman service a few years ago and a couple of my customers would fix lunch and require me to eat with them. I met a WW2 vet and his wife. :icon_thumby:They were going to MEXICO for cancer treatments that the US would not do and they always made sure to put on the feed bag.:icon_cheers: I always felt bad for billing them. But they just wanted a new face to talk with. He asked me if I could fau paint his stairs to make them match his maple floors. I said I had no idea on how to do it. He said that he could show me how and I said show me and no charge. He had done some painting after he got out of the army air force. He fau painted the columns at our old bank here in Colorado Springs. Treatments didn't help they both passed:dunno: sorry for the ramble

wow, hard luck with passing =P sorry, and I like my job, hard labor is fun! really =)

see that is my dream job as strange as that sounds. i love that stuff. I helped people before i went in the airforce(no charge) just cause i got to hear the old stories and see, for lack of a better word....., old azz crap. once started on bringing a car outta a basement piece by piece, no idea how he got it down there. the hard work is usually worth it.

sounds kinda fun the way thats put, I have always wanted to find a burried car, might bury a truck when my first is born (someday) and let him find it, putting a note in it from when I was a teen, might write it now =).

be the kinda adventure I always deamed of

Congrats man. I have a interview tomorrow with Sony Ericsson. Good times to be had.

Goodluck dude! Dad is lookin at a job in Japan for 110k a year and 2 years here at home for a job after the firstyear in japan.

Its for Corning. He worked there a few years ago.

Word. Ask him to bring me back a R32 twin turbo please.

give me the cash and I will pick it up for you when I go down sometime XD

I would rather work my butt off all day long and fall asleep the second I sit down at home than sit infront of a computer all day and be bored. Ironically thats just what im doing. I miss the outdoors.

yup, I would rather work outside, than at McDonalds, good thing is, I can consider this my first job, and use it as a reference to get more jobs like it! =D
