hi my names danny im new to TRS and was wondering if a 1350 or 1354m held fluid or if it is fed off of the trany #2 can ether one be converted to a devoiced mount unit using a main shaft that has bin splined and threaded to except a yoke #3 how many splines does a 2wd M50B-r1 trany have on the main shaft #4 where can i pick up a dirt cheap t-case in springfield missouri

Welcome to TRS!

The transmission and Transfer case have their own seperate fluids. The newer manuals also use ATF as the transfer case does but since its the same case as the older trucks that ran gear oil in the tranny they would have to keep it seperate.

Yes I believe both units can be converted into a divorced setup I am not sure how as I haven't done anything like that but other people have.

Not sure how many splines a 2wd M50D trans has but it should be the same as a 4x4 model.

And you best bet is to find someone parting out on craigslist and put up your own ad of what your looking for, I got my Manual T case and explorer rear end that way for about 200 bucks.

I just kept my eye out for a manual tcase in the classifieds on here and got one not to long after I started looking.
