I have a 1994 i want to bag.

i have already lowered it using the djm ibeams and the blocks and flip kit in the back. minus the kit (I.E. valves, tank, compressor, bags and 4 link) is there anything else do you guys think i need to buy? This is going to be a do it myself. so anyone also have any good article write ups on it.

Oh one last question. would this be a problem if it was a daily driver? Driven about 30 miles a day. to and from work.

by the way, how much did that stuff cost you altogether? How hard was it to put the flip kit on? i got a 2wd 94 also

I did my drop on my '94 a week ago. The flip kit was easy as long as you could twist the axle in place to clear the leaf springs across the brake drums.

My beams were a pain because of all the rusted bolts holding everything together.

well on the flip kit no mods needed. it was actually easy. i actually have another flip kit for sell.. i have some pictures.

i did the rear end in my drive way. but when i did the ibeams i went to a friends shop. I have already got the rear shocks in. the ones i wll use for my bag kit to. i paid 400 for the dream beams and the flip kit.

cuz i'd just recently purchased a kit to put on my truck when i get back from iraq.

full kit cost me $318 and then the shocks brought it up to $485, which i don't think that's bad at all.

Oh also, any problems clearing the stock exhaust in the rear?

naw.. but i ended up cutting the rear bracket off. I am actually of cutting my exhaust and having it come out near my rear passenger side tire.

Well zipity where would you liek me to start...

Besides the bags, valves, air line, compressor(s), air tank, and four link....

At least a 8in notch for the frame, relocate the fuel tank, if the frame comes close to the ground it is going to drag and put holes in it.

You will need a new transmission crossmember and radius arm relocator.

I will hightly suggest a lot of time, and very good set of air bags, A good welder, and some good friends to help you out.

well I am the good wielder and when i start the bagging project. I think i am going to place the truck on out of commission status. I want it to be done right and i want to be able to drive this to work atleast 5 days a week when i finish it. I have found a lot of my items at FBIRIDES.com for a good price. I will be checking suicide doors out while i am at work tonight. would the best way to do this project is by striping the truck to bare frame our just bed off of it?

Has anyone seen a good write up on doing a 1994 ranger? Or a place i can see good detailed pictures? I found some good picture of the rear end on the mini trucking magazine website. but any help will be appreciated.

I will recomend not going to FBIRIDES.com not such a great company and they do not have a four link kit long enough for you.

But as for what you posted that looks about right. But I would eithe recomend a larger air compressor or running 2 compressors and 2 tanks.

And with the 3/8 valves I would go ahead and use 1/2in air line, because they size the line by outside diameter. So basically the 1/2in line is really 3/8 inside diameter.

Well when I get home I will put you a kit together the way I would like it.

And throw up some links to what else I would recomend, but how much are you looking to spend ? I know I have somewhere around 2k into my bagged Ranger.

Well i want a kit that will last, with little problems when done right. probley under 2k would be great because i know the more you spend the better it is. i am looking for circle notches though.. are something different. I am trying to be a little different.
