i hate

i feel for ya i cant stand having to change belts on them things its a PITA my fiance had a 2001 chevy malibu and i had to change the belt and belt tenisor and if that dern belt tenisor wasnt lined up in the correct spot it didnt work and having to change the belt ment takin off the dern engine mounting bracket gah what long painful day that was. then i had to replace the spark plugs and the ones toward the back i couldnt reach and after i replaced the front 3 along with the new wires and then it ran like crap missin and everything smelled like rotten eggs got back to her place the next day and replaced the back 3 plugs and wires and guess what problem still was there took it to a shop found out when i replaced the pcv valve and 6 wires and plugs the car ran better and hotter and that caused the wire screen in the cat to break apart gah im glad that thing is gone

:icon_rofl: been there done thats it a PITA

I hate the fact that newer cars are damn near frikkin impossible to work on and understand without having a PhD, a magic 8-ball, being triple-jointed, and a ouji board!!!!!

Thank henans I own a '94 Ranger. Alothough the oil filer on the 2.3 is a PITA to take out, at least you don't have to be Eistein to figure out what's wrong with it!

yeah man, when i puled off the transaxles off on the car i was supprised to find the axles lead into a plastic cup that splines on the transmission..... talk about a weak point lol. its a good idea but from what i saw not a very solid system.

go figure though...
