i feel for ya i cant stand having to change belts on them things its a PITA my fiance had a 2001 chevy malibu and i had to change the belt and belt tenisor and if that dern belt tenisor wasnt lined up in the correct spot it didnt work and having to change the belt ment takin off the dern engine mounting bracket gah what long painful day that was. then i had to replace the spark plugs and the ones toward the back i couldnt reach and after i replaced the front 3 along with the new wires and then it ran like crap missin and everything smelled like rotten eggs got back to her place the next day and replaced the back 3 plugs and wires and guess what problem still was there took it to a shop found out when i replaced the pcv valve and 6 wires and plugs the car ran better and hotter and that caused the wire screen in the cat to break apart gah im glad that thing is gone

yeah, im in the process of replacing a clutch on a 1990 toyota corolla haha.... my brother got it for free and that was the only thing wrong with it.

but seriously one of the biggest pains in my ass i will never own one personally.....

its insane how much crap has to come off just to pull the tranny, stupid ass front wheel drive transverse nonsince ..... i was sad as hell when i saw what i was working on today.

Dude, Malibu serpentine belts are cake. I can change mine on the side of the road with minimal tools in about 20 minutes if need be. In fact I would rather change 10 of these than one fuel pump on a 2.8.

About 8 yrs ago my wife had a Sable. The bearings in the A/C clutch went out. So I bought some new bearings and proceeded to tear into it. I removed the A/C comp unit from its bracket which was on the passenger side, and after 3 hrs of cussing had to remove things so I could manuever it to the drivers side, where I could find enough room to pull it out. What a PIA that was. She has a mustang now. All is right with the world.

GOOD call! ive got a leeky blow plug on the passenger side, right behind the header. im not looking forward to tackling that job.. again. i think those copper grounds might be my answer hahahahahhaha

I'm a dumbass...I didn't tap my threads, and decided an air impact wrench would be a good idea to snug up the bolts, turns out there was so much crap that the bolt broke off in the head before it even snugged up. Crap. No prob's. I'll drill it out. But I learn my lesson and tap the threads on the passenger side, but then my dad wants to tap the threads on the drivers side so I'm like sure pops...he breaks off a tap in the head. Yay hardened steel! Drill bits won't touch it. Carbide tipped dremel bits don't touch it. So yup...I guess I hate my life haha
