I hate UPS!!!

ugh!! im so ticked a member here sent me a tranny from virginia and im in wisconsin, well i just checked the tracking info, he got all the adresses right but f*cking UPS sent it to naples florida. SOB!!! i really need the damn tranny cuz were getting snow wednesday and now i have nothing to drive because i already put my rx7 away!!! this is actually the second time UPS has done this shit to me, a couple months ago i ordered a radio from new york and they passedmy house and it ended up in a truck going to california i had to wait a full month to get it back from california! damnit!

and now i find out they dont have 24 hours customer service anymore. SOB!

ok im done ranting now, anyone else have any problems with them?

I sent some shocks to Canada by UPS. They disappeared. Never to be seen again. It seems if UPS can't find the address up there, they just go in to the unclaimed (dumpster) department.

UPS>FedEx

It seems that a lot of people feel FedEx>UPS.

I guess it's like Ford vs. Chevy. Everyone has an opinion, swears by one, hates the other.

I've never had a problem with either of them. In my experience, UPS=FedEx.

whats gay is i when i buy something stupid, like my xbox 360 or anything that i dont really need ups always shows up on time....the ONE time i rely on their asses to get me that damn tranny so i can make it TO WORK wednesday they f*uck it all up!!

I know how you feel. When I ordered my camshaft for my SBC for my project car, they handled the box like crap and it fell out of the box during shipping. But i still had the rest of my goodies in there. It only took a call to Summit and I had a new one on the way. And your siggied

The one thing I like about Fedex is that they deliver to my house on Saturday without any extra expense.

Never had a problem with any delivery and I've ordered a bunch. Maybe lucky! That sucks about the snow coming, 2-3" called for right around me tomorrow night and my 4x4 is in the shop. Where you at in Wisconsin? You should be out blasting Bambi!

I've attempted to ship something to Canada four times.

The package arrived without incident ONCE.

And that was a replacement package for one of the previous ones that was lost.

The issue wasn't FedEx but Canada Customs that it seems MUST open every
package but apparrently those cheap ****ers don't budget their workers any
money for tape to reseal the packages.

What was worse was they billed the customer for customs duty on
packages they NEVER RECEIVED and when the customer
refused to pay the bill canada customs billed it back to the carrier
who billed it back to me on my FedEx account which I then refused to pay

For obvious reasons I no longer have a FedEx account OR ship to canada.

UPS? They are SLOW AS HELL even when everything works right a trans
takes 7-10 days to go from PA to southern Michigan...

FedEx has suprised me many times by getting a trans from PA to Seattle
in THREE days, and frankly I'd love to know how they did it...
I think if they have spare space/weight they ship slower packages by faster
means than the customer paid for.

I've shipped small items via FedEx-Ground to Cali and have had them
get there on the second day I certainly didn't PAY for second day air...

for me to take a package to either FedEx or UPS to an actual corporate staffed
depot is a 20 mile drive, they are literally a block apart, FedEx consistantly gets the package there faster and usually for a couple dollars less.

that's really all I need to know.

I ship for a living and both Fedex and UPS have there faults, I have found that freight services are pretty good like Yellow/roadway. I have lost a few shipments overseas and thats always a pain in the a$$ to try and get them back or to wherever they were going. Good luck on getting you tranny.

I have yet to see a problem with UPS. My dad gets parts shipped to our house all the time, and our UPS guy (Marc) is very consistant with the time he shows up on our doorstep.

I deal with people at the local UPS store on a semi-regular basis, and they're always helpful.
FedEx is okay, but DHL is the WORST!
