I hate UPS!!!

What am I doing wrong? I went by the UPS store to see about shipping 2 flat door panels from T.N. to N.C, they originally told me app. $15.00, but for the box to ship it in & to pack it with paper it was going to be $105.23!

They said with a box that big, they don't go by weight or some $*#*! I have no freakin' clue, I don't know how to ship $*#* so I'm lost & confused!!

Not trying to thread jack, it is a gripe about UPS, right?

i receive ups everyday from all over the country. i rarely have any issues with parts getting lost. my only complaint about ups is theyre not consistent on delivery times, so i just send a driver to pick my ups up at the depo. its always piled up ready to be signed for. nice ppl over there

unfortunately when a package is as big as that, they dont go by weight cuz they take up alot of room in their trucks. i can send out a 44lbs cylinder head across the country for 20 bucks, but a 5lbs 9 foot exhaust pipe costs double that. its BS but what can you do??

I ave never had any problem with either Fed-X of UPS but I am sure the factorc change accordingly with ,"Murphys Law" as to the critical need for the item. Lost a tranny from Germany,dealer reordered,a week later both showed up!

The USPS is the worst!

I've shipped both FedEx and UPS and never had an issue other than boxes that were bumped up a little,but nothing ever damaged.

I use fedex. They are enormously cheaper then UPS. I handle all the shipping through work. I can ship something for 5 bucks through fedex that normally costs 15 through UPS. Tell me that isn't ridiculous

The only thing I dont like about UPS is that they dont get around to my neighborhood till around 6 or later. I have to anxiously wait all day. But other than that its great. I like their tracking system as well
