So I have wanted to put seats in the bed of my truck for a long time. I had been told it wasn't possible for a stepside. Well, I proved them wrong! I found a bench seat from a windstar and chopped 3" out of it and now it fits! anyway on to the pics!

lol seat belts? bring more people trail riding is always a good thing!

lol, good lord.

All you need now is a cooler back there and you've got a kickass wheelin' party rig

hahaha. that clip's funny. Yeah, I can't wait to use it either but its been rather cold around here recently. Also I got a waterproof cover for it. I think it looks much better with it.

My buddy and I used 2 plastic racing seats in his Dodge. Was fun as hell, we got pulled over in Jersey with me and a girl in the seats and they let us go 'cuz we had seatbelts! lol

As long as the seats are bolted in properly, I see no issues with it!!!! Looks neat as well. I have thought about doing something too. I have my spare 33x12.5 KO tire and my custom bed extender in the back. I took out my jump seats one day and put them in the back to see how they looked and I liked the idea. This is an idea I have been thinking about for sometime. The jump seats look great in the back and leave me room for the spare tire and the bed extender!!! The jump seats will fit on the corners of the bed up front and it is a great idea. I can buy great looking used ones around here and keep my original jump seats where they are in the cab.

I would just have to do some fab work on the install but it will work!!!! You got me motivated, Bro...but this is something I will have to wait to do until next summer...too many projects for me to do yet!!!!!

Drat....I was going to post some photos of what the jump seats looked like in the back of my bed......but when I got the camera out to download the photos to my picture sits...I somehow stupidly deleted the camera photos since I thought I already downloaded the photos to my picture site!!! Ahhhhhhh. I am just not taking out those jump seat again to take a photo!!!

Life sucks and then you die.....lol

Well, that sucks. I really wanted to see what that would look like. Oh well. Guess we will have to wait until you actually get it done. :icon_thumby:

I'm actually still working on the brackets to mount it ( spring break ended haha). I had wanted to do the jump seats at first but I liked the bench better.

the idea of the bench seat is sweet! but im more interested in that roll bar...

Thanks, What do you want to know about it?

I honestly think it looks really dangerous, I guess if your just mudding its fine, but trail riding, I would be too worried about bouncing someone out or rolling on em
