Your opening line made me think of my first ambulance ride. Graduated from HS in North Central Kansas, found a job in El Paso, TX. Had $0.59 to my name so had to hitchhike there. Just south of Wichita, KS a couple of college kids driving an ambulance stopped and told me they really wanted to go fast with the red lights and siren, but they would have to have someone in the back lying on the little cot. If I would do that, they would give me a ride. I made it all the way across Oklahoma into north Texas that way.

Glad to hear you ok I'm just happy i decided smoking wasnt worth it. I have better things to spend my money on than this Gl to all trying to quit, both my parents have recently quit and that was a... fun... experience lol
