I got the Ranger back from paint

Probably for this year, I'm going go get the tailgait done, the front LED corner/signal lights, and a HID headlight upgrade. There are going to be afew small things that will happen now, but thats about all I have planned so far.

I am not sure what all you are doing to the tail lights, I painted the raised frame part of mine the same color as the rest of the body and it looks pretty cool, kind of like a small tail light cover (that no one makes for these trucks). Just an idea.

You can kind of see it here, sorry I don't have a actual picture showing just that.

Aside from that little idea, you have a very nice looking truck, I wish mine was that straight.

I recommend installing a viper 3000 if you are looking for projects.

I purchased it while I upgraded to electric windows/mirrors and locks. Fairly easy to install. My reason for the install was the viper keychain acts like a beeper when the alarm goes off with reception up to a mile away. My gym is in a very bad neighborhood and I felt like a good investment (137.00 USD) on amazon. Since Calgary is cold I recommend installing an ignition start. Good for warming up the engine while you are still in your house. Whats the weather like right now?

If you do decide to install it yourself I recommend getting the online instruction booklet. The one that comes with the alarm has very small font.

I really don't need a car alarm where I park. I'm in a nicer area. There are brand new Dodge Ram's, Dodge Caravans, Chevy 1500's, BMW's, Corvette's and such on my street, so an old Ford Ranger isn't going to be touched. Also, in Calgary, car alarms are more useless then anything, when one goes off, people want that car stolen to get rid of that damn beeping/honking. As for the remote start, I was thinking about that a wile ago, but I never had a problem with my truck last winter, and I doubt I'll have a problem with it this year. Get in, start my truck, crank the heat to max, grab my ice scraper/snow brush, and by the time I get my truck brushed off, and my windows scraped, the truck is usually warm. This last week its snows twice, and its been nippy in the morning, but the trucks been warm by the time I take off. I might invest in an alarm later on, but a kill switch does just as good...Or wire in an alarm where it electrifies the truck when its activated, I'm thinking a 10 000v shock should do :D.

came out really nice, I was a fan of the dark blue but it looks good now.
