I got the Ranger back from paint (56k warning)
Well, about a month and a half ago, the truck went in for some rust repair, body work, and paint. I got it back about an hour and a half ago. Now, a quick history of its past.
A few days after I bought it and got the explorer rims on it.
I broke a leaf about a month after I got it, so I decided to do the shackle flip at that time, since I had it on the hoist anyways. I'll eventually get around to the front
When I bought the truck, the interior was in really bland shape
The interior got redone, sorry, its a little messy, and a little dark
I replaced the grill with one off of an Explorer Limited "sport", I have never seen one on another Ranger.
I got rid of the canopy and the box, the box was rusting out quite bad on the underside of it. Without the canopy, and the old box
Now with the "new" box, believe it or not, it was in way better condition.
I got bored of the smoke stained head liner (previous owner was a smoker), so I got ambitious and put in a new map light set up, and black velvet for the liner.
Next is lighting. A friend and I got bored and decided to make some LEDs for it. The rears are done, the fronts are still being worked on, they've been put on hold for a wile.
Now, in for the body. After I dropped it off, thats after 2 days.
There are a lot of build shots, but thats to much effort to put them all up, and really, they all look the same. Summing it up, the only original metal on the truck, is the majority of the cab and inner fender supports, and most of the core support. The box is off of a 1992 Ranger, and all the rest of the parts, doors, hood, fenders cab corners, ect. are from ACP. I am still in need of a tail gait as I don't want to go after market because I like the raised "FORD" on the inlayed section, and I've also heard more bad then good about after market tail gaits. There are sill some minor things to work out, but its going to stay like this for some time now.
