I would recommend a 8k, but if you're careful a 6k will do. Just don't expect it to pull you up a cliff. It'll get ya outta lil stucks and drag deer decently.

yeah have you ordered your "wench" yet? cuz 6k may not be big enough depending on what kind of wheeling you do. If you plan to even remotely do any of the following then you need at least an 8k:
Mudding,
Rock crawling
Helping your fellow offroaders
wheeling by yourself...(not recommended but it happens).

And remember your winch isnt going to pull what its rated for when all the wire is still on the drum....its like putting 37s on a 3.0L and not regearing....just doesnt work.
