I just cant get into the dual cames thing or hoyt. Ya I own a reflex but it is a solo cam and is accurate as hell to plus got it for free and put new strings, cables and goodies on it, have had it for years now. I have dropped mine once from a tree stand and test shot it and nothing got messed up and still shoots perfectly.

Didnt have time last year to bow hunt but plan on it this year. I need to get out and go shoot mine again. Sits next to me in a hard case in my room. I have been shooting a bow since I was 12 years old and love it, would rather kill with a bow then a gun.

One thing that I do like is my drop rest from cobra and the sights made by them too. Also have limb saver products on it.

Its not the bow though, its the shooter behind it that matters.

I do understand they are testing the durability of the bow, but do they have to go that far? You truely have to be an idiot to run over your bow with your truck or piss the wife or gf enough that they run over it themselves.

If I bought a new bow, it would have to be a Mathews or Bowtech.

If I bought a new bow, it would have to be a Mathews or Bowtech.

Why they don't offer lifetime warantees and there bows shoot no were as fast as hoyt and they are no were as strong or as light as hoyt. Also Hoyt has 156 first place tournament wins. Mathews only has 50 and bowtech has 0.

Speed isnt everything when it comes to shooting a bow, I want accuracy to be in there too. Also a good hunter too, dont let your weapon make up for your mistakes that you make in the field.

Giving a lifetime warrenty means that theses bows are meant for the careless and they are doing anything to sell them.

Just because a pro can win with them in competition doesnt mean if somebody buys one, they will be just as good as them. Pros have spent years shooting and just putting one into the hands of somebody that hasnt shot will not give the same results. Plus do we go hunting with the same accessories as they have when they shoot in a competition, I dont at least. And there is a difference between the wood shooting an animal and out at a competition shooting a target.

I personally dont like to have a super light bow, it is much harder to hold steady, for me at least.

If you cant make the shot, dont take the shot, I don t like to "educate" the animals that I am hunting.

I see what your saying but I'm just not crazy about Bowetech or Mathews they just don't cut it for me. I hate solo cams with a passion. There is NOTHING that compares to two symmetrical cams producing equal amounts of stored energy. Two cams are definitely the most accurate, consistent way to go. Period.

The Matrix is a neat bow, looks sharp and is very light. Their pricing department is on crack though... no way I would ever spend $1500 for a basic bow.

And I get along just fine with my old solocam.

Bows are fun. I'v got an old ass Hoyt/Easton Dual cam long bow. Loved that thing, splintered a limb last year though.

In the end, it comes down to the shooter, not the bow. I was told and this is true, that if you pick up a bow, or any weapon such as a gun, and dont like the way it feels, put it back down ad keep looking.

I just dont see how there is more simplicity in two things that have to do the same exact thing everytime with eachother compaired to one thing though. All it takes is one to go faster/slower then the other to mess a shot up.

One thing that i do like about mine is how I can adjust the draw length without the use of a bow press and the let off too.

But to each his own I guess.

But I do like to see that there are others on here that have a common thing, other then owning an RBV, and that is shooting a bow. And I hope that we all pass this thing on to our kids and to there grand kids, etc....
