On the bolts that hold the leaf spring to the mounts ('92 super cab), what size are they? I wanna say 1/2", but I totally don't remember. :icon_twisted:

I'm pretty sure they are 1/2 and were seriously tough bolts too. I just got new ones right from Ford to save me the hassle of figuring out what grade.

I hate those bolts cause the sleeve in the bushing on the leaf spring is stuck on mine and won't come out now i have to cut the hell out out of them

Yup. Don't use a saw, the bolt is a very high grade. The only thing that works (with me) is a cutting wheel on an air cut off tool.

14mm don't know the pitch

Oh, okay. I went through my old bolt bin and found that I used 1/2" grade 8's with fine thread.

I ask all this because I am making a set of custom leafspring mounts (the ones that are riveted to the frame) and forgot what I used on my first brackets.

Alrighty, now I can get them done and give them to someone to try out in the near future.
