i was taking my hubs apart and broke the flat plastic washer thats behind the c-clip on the hub can you buy that anywhere or can i fab one up

If its just plastic I would go to a hardware store and buy a plastic washer thats the same dimensions, or slightly larger and cut it down.

What year Ranger?
I've never seen a plastic washer behind the c-clip on the hub end of the axle on any Ranger up till they switched from the TTB to the IFS suspension in '98.
IIRC, there is a pair of metal washers and a thin thrust washer. To me it almost sounds like someone lost some parts and just fitted something in there.

It's on both sides its a 95 I remember seeing it on my bronco II as well it goes behind the c clip on the axle I think it acts like a spacer
