Not one mention anywhere of what today is....:shok:

My FB was exploding with it. I didn't feel the need to add to the already 90 million posts about it personally.

And it shouldn't just be remembered on one day only. Those people, everyday you and me people, died like real heroes. Not to put down solders, cops or firefighters, but they have training. These were normal people on a flight that gave everything to stop another disaster.

True, but I expected to see a thread about it on here, since usually someone puts up something for other things like Christmas, New Years, Fourth of July, etc.

And yes, we should honor those people every day. But we should NEVER forget 9/11. I know I will never forget what happened and where I was that day.

There's a couple of posts here by a couple of us..... posts 277-279. It just so happens I am listening to it AGAIN right now. :D

A couple of posts.... but no thread.

Likewise no one made mention that the muslim brotherhood attacked the US Embassy and burned the American flag in Cairo today.

Another example of our "fine and upstanding" media.... :annoyed:

You said "anywhere" though. :D

I haven't seen many posts from Jim lately. I'm sure he's a busy man and didn't get to it.

.........probably busy thinking of a new way to rig the premium member giveaway since someone sniffed out the conspiracy.......

^THIS THANK YOU!

So much has happened throughout history there's many days out of the year. I only truly remember the ones I was around for.

I'll never forget where I was when I heard the news. I was a jerk highschool kid that cracked jokes about it that early morning when a friend ran up saying a plane hit the World Trade Center. It didn't sink into my 15 year old head until I saw the people jumping out of windows.

I'll never forget that horror.

I put my flag out yesterday morning and I paused for a moment to remember and reflect as I do every year now on 911.

I thought about it for about ten minutes yesterday. I remembered the day clearly because I was in Canadian Tire trying to buy an EGR pipe for my Ranger. It was also a month before I lost my younger brother to a brain aneurism and the changes that took place in both my personal and professional life.

I also thought about another attack and how it would affect my friends in the US and the way it would trickle down into either a panic or a war or both...

I thought about it as I was preparing for bed...how God said that "with faith you will laugh at calamities and not be afraid..." and thought that we need more faith in the world...not war...not panic...faith...

Our worldly rulers can rile us up and make us hate others and want to destroy them... our Heavenly ruler wants us to forgive and turn the other cheek...and simply trust Him...God will take care of the fallen...and the ones remaining...but the ones remaining need to take care of the worldly leaders and make sure they don't lead us to hate.

I will never forget since the event was one of the main reasons I joined the USAF. My first full day of basic was the 1 yr anniversary. I can never forget due to I am having 'Never Forget' tattooed down my left tricep and 'Infidel' down my right tricep.
